Job Summary

• Provide engineering expertise to design, fabricate and integrate harness systems and represent the harness discipline on projects.
• Investigate, plan, design and develop harnesses to meet various technical requirements, researching and selecting appropriate components.
• Work closely with fellow electrical & mechanical engineers to develop and generate harness system block diagrams and wire diagrams to release for production.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years hands-on experience designing electrical harnessing
• Experience working directly with harness manufacturers
• Own end-to-end of the electrical wiring and interconnect system
• Ensure design meets system-level electrical requirements
• Perform electrical trade studies
• Analyze and mitigate electrical risks
• Able to apply knowledge of SWaP
• Experience reading wire block interconnect diagrams
• Must be eligible to receive a US Security Clearance
