Job Summary

  • The primary responsibility of your job position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
  • Essential duties include assisting the Director of Nursing Services, participating in policy development, ensuring reference materials are current, and maintaining the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
  • Personnel functions involve ensuring sufficient staffing levels for licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants, developing work assignments, and monitoring absenteeism to ensure adequate care personnel are on duty.

Key Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered, active RN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • 2 years or more experience
  • Nursing Degree from accredited college/university
  • Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
