Key Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience
  • Two (2) years of college with 12 semester hours in chemistry or life science and two (2) years of directly job-related experience
  • Four (4) years of experience at Meat Inspector 2 or equivalent
  • State or Federal Meat Inspection or Food Inspection experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
