Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for the general management and supervision of the statewide bridge inspection field work involving special and in-depth inspection of over18,000 structures on the State Highway System.
  • Manage and review the work of over 20 State bridge inspection teams and consultant bridge inspection teams who inspect highway bridges, high mast light towers, culverts, large pipes, tunnels, overhead sign supports and walkway bridges.
  • The position is in Raleigh, though splitting time each week between a field office and the Raleigh office will be considered.
