Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience with fixed wing commercial, Government or DOD aircraft
  • Level 1 Certification in ESD Protection (Electrostatic)
  • May require FAA Airplane and/or Powerplant certification
  • May require FCC GROL Certification
  • Must obtain NASA Workmanship Certifications: IPC J-STD-001FS, NASA-STD-8739.1, -8739.5, and -8739.4
  • Must be able to pass a NASA administered physical and Class II Flight Physical
  • Valid state driver's license required
