The Public Safety Senior Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day functions of securing, directing, and promoting security on the campus of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
As the eyes and ears of the venue, this role involves greeting guests, resolving complaints, managing crowds, and intervening in situations when appropriate while maintaining a positive attitude.
Candidates must possess oral and written communication skills, physical ability to stand for up to 8 hours, and the willingness to interact with guests from varying socioeconomic backgrounds.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Minimum two years public safety background
Valid state driver's license with max 4 points
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Proficiency in English reading writing speaking
Experience with fire alarm and CCTV systems
Willingness to work flexible hours including nights
Nice-to-have
Law enforcement or military background preferred
Fire or emergency medical service experience
Surveillance skills preferred but not required
Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
Proactive attitude towards guest interaction
Key Requirements
Two years minimum public safety/security background
NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications within 120 days
CPR, First Aid, AED certification required upon hire
Pass pre-employment background check and random drug screens
Valid State driver's license with no more than 4 points
