Design Group is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to join their Atlanta office, focusing on delivering high-quality engineering solutions for clients in industries such as food and beverage, life sciences, and advanced technology. The ideal candidate should have at least seven years of experience in industrial project engineering, particularly in process automation, and possess strong analytical and organizational skills

Job Summary

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of integrated process related projects including design, process equipment selection and installation specifications, vendor and contractor management, process electrical / control and instrumentation design integration as well as construction management and start-up support.
  • Accountable for all aspects of client development and project execution including: proposal development and presentations, project team leadership, project budgets and forecasting, vendor/contractor management, equipment procurement, schedule management, project engineering, and site management/installation support.
  • You will build a meaningful and fulfilling career with the support of professional development resources and mentorships including our First Year Experience program, Individual Development Plans, and Career Path resources and tools.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of industrial project engineering experience
  • BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred
  • Experience in food, dairy, beverage/brewery, or personal care industries highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mass & heat balances
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, & AutoCAD
  • Willing and able to travel as necessary
