Job Summary

  • The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care duties for a group of patients, from simple to complex, for the specialty population on the unit or department, under the guidance and supervision of the registered nurse.
  • Performs activities of daily living and personal care needs, technical skills/procedures, documents care provided, and reports observations to the RN.
  • Maintains the patient care areas to ensure cleanliness, safety and supplies of material and equipment, and receives delegated work adhering to the five rights of delegation.
