Job Summary
The IESO is committed to ensuring Ontario’s electricity system meets the province’s needs today and into the future.
The successful candidate will be expected to assist in the development and continuous improvement of Operations processes, tools, and risk controls, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
A typical day involves working closely with subject matter experts across Operations and other business units to integrate new technologies, programs, and market designs into day-to-day operations.

Key Requirements
Engineering knowledge of electrical theory, power system analysis and control

Exposure to overall power system operation
Understanding of IESO-Administered Markets
Excellent written and oral communications
Computer experience including statistical and database software
Experience in applying, testing, and considering merits of alternatives
