Threemeadowspa is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in implementing a creative activities program for residents in accordance with regulatory standards. The role involves planning and conducting various activities while ensuring effective communication with residents and staff. The position requires a high school diploma and experience in a long-term care facility is preferred

Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Participate in planning and conducting of individual, small and large group activities and assist in providing good communication between employees of all levels, residents, their families, support personnel, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
  • Assist in arranging transportation for residents when necessary including, but not limited to, resident outings, to/from appointments, or for discharge.
