The Regional Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor will lead surveillance activities in francophone Africa, focusing on countries including DRC, Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, Madagascar, and Morocco.
This role involves coordinating with diverse organizations and providing expert input to national guidelines while ensuring alignment with global health standards.

Technical leadership on USG-funded projects
Epidemiological analysis and outbreak investigation
Francophone Africa regional focus
DHIS2 system development and implementation
Cross-country collaboration in epidemiology
English and French proficiency

Multisectoral collaboration experience
Experience with zoonotic diseases
Capacity building and staff training
Experience in global health security projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience drafting reports and publications
Key Requirements
Master’s degree in epidemiology or related field
At least 5 years international epidemiology experience
Minimum 3 years managing USG-funded projects
Experience leading multi-country surveillance projects
