Key Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
1 year security, law enforcement, or military experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Certified Police Officer Standard Training Academy completion
Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certification or Military Police equivalent
Valid Louisiana driver’s license and clean DMV report
Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) training
International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Certification within 90 days
Successful completion of FTO Program within 60 days
