Job Summary
Under the direction of the Sterile Processing Manager, the Sterile Processing Technician processes the instrumentation utilized in the operating room and ancillary areas according to regulatory standards and appropriate internal standards.
The role provides and customer-focused service to all Health System team members, leadership and medical staff and to the patients/visitors.
Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Key Requirements
High School Graduate
Sterile Processing Technician or Surgical Technologist experience
Completion of Sterile Processing Certification program
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) within 1 Year
Certified Registered Central Service Technician(CRCST) - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) upon Hire
