Sun Chemical is seeking a Material Handler for its Newport, DE location to support production activities by ensuring proper handling of bulk chemicals and raw materials. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in material handling, including DOT certification and familiarity with safety protocols

Job Summary

  • Execution of daily area activities for Bulk chemical receipts ensuring that the correct material/quantities are received and processed properly through the QC lab and safely offloaded from tanker trucks into bulk process tanks.
  • Responsible for moving trailers as needed using the yard truck to stage feed for Production, dry vans for outbound finished product, or position bulk trailers to support production needs.
