Job Summary

  • As a Stagehand you will work with our current team of Stagehands to create, establish and maintain all NewsNation stage and lighting needs.
  • The Stagehand will perform, at a minimum, the following duties: Operate entertainment lighting consoles/switchboards, spotlights, and other lighting equipment.
  • Part time employees are eligible for 401(k) and any local/state leave plans.

Salary

$41.00 - $55.00 Hourly; Benefits: Comprehensive for full-time, 401(k) for part-time; Union positions subject to CBA

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Operate entertainment lighting consoles
  • Move, install, place, handle scenery and props
  • Function as scenic carpenters
  • Strong working knowledge of television lighting
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-have

  • Creative and pro-active approach
  • Rigging functions may be performed

Key Requirements

  • 5-7 years in a major market television station
  • Meet I.A.T.S.E. stagehand standards
  • Working knowledge of ETC EOS and Ion consoles
  • Member in good standing of I.A.T.S.E.
