Job Summary

  • As an Amentum Space Exploration Division intern, you will work alongside engineers and scientists on hardware development, payload integration, modeling and simulation, and propulsion systems for space programs including Human Landing Systems and the International Space Station.
  • This internship offers opportunities to develop, modify, and maintain software simulations and tools, analyze spacecraft dynamics, and support verification and validation efforts to ensure mission success for lunar and Mars exploration.

Key Requirements

  • Current enrollment in BS engineering or related program
  • Completed sophomore year of university studies
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Valid Star ID/Real ID driver's license and access to automobile
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
