This role will be responsible to the C-27J Key Account Manager (KAM) and will report to the C-27J Lead Instructor for the provision of training, administrative and subject matter expertise support applicable to Spartan Pilot Initial Qualification (PIQ) Course, secondary upgrade courses and current training, as well as liaising with other resident instructional staff as required

Job Summary

  • This role will be responsible to the C-27J Key Account Manager (KAM) and will report to the C-27J Lead Instructor for the provision of training, administrative and subject matter expertise support applicable to Spartan Pilot Initial Qualification (PIQ) Course, secondary upgrade courses and current training, as well as liaising with other resident instructional staff as required.
  • Conduct mission briefs and debriefs as appropriate, deliver simulator instruction to C-27J pilot students, engage with simulator maintenance technicians to report identified simulator issues, and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training material that supports syllabus delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience
  • Minimum 1000 command hours on multi engine, multi crew and tactical transport aircraft
  • Have, or ability to gain, a Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or recognised experience
