This role serves as the foundation of Architecture4Insight by designing schemas and ontologies that transform raw scientific data into FAIR-compliant assets.
The position requires partnering with deep scientific teams to create custom-fit solutions for chemical, biological, and automation-generated data.
Candidates will work within a multidisciplinary Data Foundry team enabling AI-native drug discovery through integrated pillars of architecture, methods, and automation.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
SQL skills across multiple database paradigms
Experience with Databricks or Snowflake lakehouse architecture
Knowledge graph design using Neo4j or Amazon Neptune
Semantic data standards implementation (RDF, OWL, SPARQL)
ETL/ELT pipeline development with Spark or dbt
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with LIMS and ELN systems like Benchling
Experience with vector databases for RAG workflows
Understanding of chemical and biological data formats
Strong communication skills for technical and scientific audiences
Pharmaceutical industry research experience
Key Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or related STEM field
7+ years experience with B.S. or 5+ years with M.S. in data architecture
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
