Job Summary

• The Hoist / Shaft Superintendent is accountable for the planning, coordination and direction of safe production, as well as mechanical and electrical maintenance, in the shafts, shaft facilities, hoists, and headframes to ensure the optimum efficiency of hoisting ore, personnel and materials conforming to schedule mine ore tonnage.
• Plans and implements predictive and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure that the hoist and shaft assets are maintained to acceptable standards.

• Engineering Degree, Red Seal Trade Certificate or extensive experience
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
