Honeywell is seeking a Lead Outside Sales Representative to manage full-cycle sales in the refining, petrochemical, and adsorbent industries. The position is remote but prefers candidates based in Rosemont, IL, or Houston, TX, and requires significant experience in technical sales and familiarity with UOP's processes and technologies

Job Summary

  • Lead opportunities through the entire sales cycle: Identify opportunity, clarify bid, develop sales strategy, enroll and aligning sales support, submit proposal, close the deal, work with order management, production planning and service to make, deliver and service the product.
  • Lead the customer relationship for assigned customer set. Be able to work issues through their chain of command and understand the customer business drivers, decision-making process, and key decision-makers.

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in Hydroprocessing, Isomerization, Reforming and/or Aromatics technologies
  • 1+ years experience selling into a competitive market
  • 3+ years experience with catalysts and adsorbents in refinery and petrochemical processes
  • BS degree in engineering, chemical or similar science
  • 3+ years of technical sales or sales support experience
  • 3 years min experience with UOP-Licensed refining and petrochemical catalytic process technologies
  • Experience using MicroSoft Office & SalesForce.Com (SFDC)
  • 25-50% domestic travel annually
