The NC Department of Transportation is seeking a DDC Manager, specifically an Engineering Supervisor II, to lead a team of engineers and technicians in managing transportation improvement projects. Job Summary

  • Employee will serve as an Engineering Supervisor II with a small group of engineers and technicians engaged in project management, engineering coordination, computer-aided design, construction plan production, estimating, surveying, contract administration and technical support for Division-managed transportation improvement projects.
  • This position will also be responsible for coordinating with other NCDOT units, private engineering firms, property owners, local officials, utility owners, regulatory agencies, construction contractors, and the general public.
  • Supervisory duties include performance management, training and development, workload planning and task assignments, and hiring.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of engineering
