Job Summary
The Department of Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology to start in August 2026.
We seek applicants with broad training in cultural anthropology whose work addresses pressing issues of our time and whose theoretical and geographic expertise complements and/or expands current department strengths.
The successful candidate should be prepared to teach an upper-level undergraduate class in History of Anthropological Thought and develop courses that will expand our undergraduate and graduate curricula.
