Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED with 5 years Franciscan coding experience or Associate's Degree in Health Information Management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management preferred
  • 5 years Franciscan outpatient coding with CCS, CCS-P, CPC or 3 years outpatient coding with RHIT/RHIA
  • 3 years coding manager or trainer/auditor preferred
  • Surgery coding experience required
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented
