** Kern River Transitional Care is seeking a licensed Medication Aide to ensure the safe administration of medications to residents while adhering to facility policies. The role involves maintaining communication with nursing staff and physicians, documenting medication administration, and participating in quality assurance programs. **

Job Summary

  • Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document oral and/or topical medications as ordered by the attending physician or Medical Director.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance programs, the Pharmaceutical Services Committee, and any other facility committee or program that affects the medication pass and seeks to improve the performance and accuracy of the medication process.
