Job Summary

  • Our Level II Labor & Delivery/Postpartum unit provides care for patients delivering at 32 weeks gestation and above, with protocols in place to stabilize and transfer those under 32 weeks to a Level III facility.
  • Nurses are trained in both labor and postpartum care, and staffing ratios follow AWHONN guidelines: 1:1 for labor and recovery, 1:2 for cervical ripening and high-risk/magnesium postpartum, and 1:3 for postpartum couplets.
