General Summary: The Accountant will have to plan, organize, control and directs the accounting division operations, including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable, budgetary, and financial reporting. Essential Responsibilities: Plans, organizes, controls, and directs the accounting division operations including accounts payable and receivable, budgetary, and financial reporting and cash flow management. Maintains the accounting system by interpreting, supplementing, and revising the system and by interpreting accounting compliance standards. Develops, maintains, and analyzes budgets and prepares periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs. Analyzes records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries. Reviews and/or prepares detailed reports of operations and transaction activities, presenting any irregularities or exceptions to management. Provides day-to-day co-ordination and scheduling of activities to ensure that proceeding, operations, and accounting timeframes are met. Supervises, directs, and assists in the preparation of the Annual Financial Report. Provides accounting-related information to internal and external auditors. Maintain fiscal accurate and easily accessible records. Formulates, recommends, and implements financial operations policies and procedures. Liaises with tax agent on the tax affairs of the Company and its Subsidiaries. Quarterly, ensure the accuracy of GST reports submission to IRAS. Cash flow management. Underake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time in order to maintain staffing flexibility and efficiency. JOB REQUIREMENT: Diploma / Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualification, with working knowledge of Singapore standards tax and GST regulations.
