  • Knowledge of CDC, NIH, USDA, and OSHA regulations
  • Experience working with IBC and IACUC committees
  • Ability to wear respiratory protection equipment

Nice-to-have

  • PhD in biology or public health preferred
  • Certified Biological Safety Professional (ABSA)
  • EHS audit and management system experience
  • Strong cultural competency and communication skills
  • Experience with AAALAC accreditation processes

Key Requirements

  • Master's degree in microbiology, biological sciences, veterinary sciences, public health, or industrial hygiene
  • Valid Driver's license with a good driving record
  • Pass pre-employment physical for respiratory protection and hazardous materials work
  • Willingness to receive vaccination for risk group 3 agents
