Job Summary
The Neurosurgery PA will participate in inpatient care as part of the inpatient Neurosurgery team for the Department of Neurosurgery at South Shore Hospital.
Responsibilities include rounding with the neurosurgical team, performing consultations, collecting clinical data, and performing procedures such as lumbar drain placement and central line placement.
The PA may serve as OR first assist and will be first-call for ED and inpatient consultations, triaging appropriately and calling the neurosurgeon on-call as needed.
