The primary purpose of this position is to conduct administrative hearings for the Division of Motor Vehicles regarding driver's license revocations and restorations.
Hearing Officers must evaluate extensive documentation, research state and federal case laws, and render fair decisions based on evidence presented.
The role requires a deep knowledge of North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 20 and the ability to administer oaths, issue subpoenas, and rule on motions.
