The MDR Educator & Quality Lead is responsible for the assessment, implementation, planning and evaluation and supportive application of existing and new MDR knowledge and the translation of knowledge to practice.
The prime focus of the MDR Educator & Quality Lead is to build capacity and to develop and contribute to core and specialty competencies of the MDR staff.

Key Requirements
Grade 12 completion
Medical Device Reprocessing Certification
Certified (or eligible for certification) as a Canadian Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (CMDRT)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in operating room instrumentation
Experience in MDR with sound knowledge of reprocessing equipment, decontamination, and sterilization
Experience as a preceptor/trainer
Proficiency using computer and Microsoft Office Suite
