  • The prime focus of the MDR Educator & Quality Lead is to build capacity and to develop and contribute to core and specialty competencies of the MDR staff.

Key Requirements

  • Grade 12 completion
  • Medical Device Reprocessing Certification
  • Certified (or eligible for certification) as a Canadian Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (CMDRT)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in operating room instrumentation
  • Experience in MDR with sound knowledge of reprocessing equipment, decontamination, and sterilization
  • Experience as a preceptor/trainer
  • Proficiency using computer and Microsoft Office Suite
