Job Summary
The instructor is responsible for providing instruction to youth ages 3 and up as well as adults in figure skating techniques and movement.
Staff must demonstrate proper use of equipment, enforce safety rules, and evaluate students on testing days while completing required forms.
Candidates are expected to attend at least one continuing education seminar per year and maintain effective working relationships with management and parents.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
USFS Freeskate 6 certification or equivalent
SafeSport compliance within 3 months
Ability to organize large groups of skaters
Knowledge of U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills program
Nice-to-have
3+ years previous coaching experience
5+ years competitive skating experience
Willingness to try new approaches and techniques
Energy, assertiveness, innovation, and creativity
Key Requirements
Must have passed USFS Freeskate 6 or equivalent
