Job Summary
PATH seeks a subject matter expert to strengthen Ethiopia's polio and vaccine-preventable disease surveillance systems under the STRIDES Project.
The consultant will conduct active case searches, verify surveillance activities, and provide technical training to staff in border, pastoralist, and remote areas.
This role requires close collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health, regional bureaus, and international partners to ensure actionable decision-making through improved data reporting.

Experience in refugee and IDP settings
Key Requirements
Master's degree in epidemiology or public health
5+ years experience in polio/vaccine-preventable disease surveillance
Demonstrated experience with AFP surveillance protocols
Practical experience working within Ethiopia's public health system
