Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Cable Harness Design Engineer III to support the New Glenn rocket program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing wire harnesses for aerospace applications, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and a passion for advancing human spaceflight

Job Summary

  • This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond.
  • As part of a small, hardworking and accomplished team of engineers, you will be in charge of engineering, designing, and installing of electrical harnesses for various spaceflight systems.

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience designing Wire Harnesses for the Aerospace industry
  • B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical or an appropriate engineering field
  • Experience with Creo and Windchill and Routed System Designer (RSD)
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620A, NASA-STD-8739.4 standards
  • wire derating analysis
