Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards.
Essential duties include participating in planning and conducting activities, assisting with communication, developing monthly activity calendars, and participating in discharge planning.
The role requires assisting with assessment documentation, maintaining the cleanliness of the Activity Department, and arranging transportation for residents when necessary.
