Job Summary

• The LVN ensures care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and direction from the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor, to maintain the highest level of quality resident care.
• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and resident care plans, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor residents’ conditions.
• Accurately transcribe and implement physician orders, complete required documentation including nurses’ notes, incident reports, and medication records, and maintain confidentiality of resident information in compliance with HIPAA.
