Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration.
Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, completing monthly nursing schedules, coordinating staffing needs, and assisting with interviews and record-keeping for new hires.
The role requires the ability to cope with mental and emotional stress, work effectively with residents and personnel, and potentially lift up to 25 pounds.
