Job Summary

  • The Emergency Department Medic will deliver safe patient care within his/her scope of practice as defined by hospital regulation and perform a variety of patient-related duties, acting on initiated protocols under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
  • Assist Providers and Registered Nurses in the setup and implementation of patient care while accurately and professionally documenting all patient care.
  • This role requires regular and sustained attendance and may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
