Job Summary
Collaborates with classroom teacher in performance of teaching functions providing support to students and coteaching.
Provides instructional and behavioral management support to students, working with children in small and large group settings, as well as individually.
Provides classroom coverage as a substitute teacher as needed, overseeing and leading lessons for various classrooms of 6 to 8 school-aged children with brain injuries or brain-based disabilities in absence of classroom teacher.

Key Requirements
Associate's degree or NYS Teaching Assistant Level III certificate
Equivalent combination of education and experience
