Job Summary

  • The Lead Specialist – Customs & FTZ Compliance will serve as the primary onsite authority overseeing all U.S. Customs & Border Protection compliance activities for our Foreign Trade Zone manufacturing facility.
  • This role is responsible for ensuring the lawful, efficient, and timely movement of imported goods, maintaining the integrity of our FTZ program, and acting as the organization's subject-matter expert on customs laws, regulations, valuation, admissibility, and documentation requirements.

Must-have

  • Licensed U.S. Customs Broker
  • Customs compliance and brokerage
  • Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations
  • HTS classification and valuation
  • Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) filing
  • CBP regulatory expertise

Nice-to-have

  • Strong analytical and regulatory research skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Proficient in ERP and inventory control systems
  • Experience with FTZ system

Key Requirements

  • Active U.S. Customs Broker License
  • 3–7+ years customs brokerage experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Direct FTZ experience preferred
  • Knowledge of 19 CFR and HTSUS
  • Experience with CBP and partner agencies
