Job Summary

  • The job holder will contribute to and lead the management and assessment of selected low to medium risk prisoners and prepare, implement, review and evaluate their sentence plans with them.
  • This role requires working regular unsocial hours and a 17% payment will be paid in addition to your basic pay to recognise this.
  • The MoJ offers Hybrid Working arrangements where business need allows, blending working from your base location, different MoJ sites and/or from home.

  • Trained in restraint techniques

  • Understanding of factors related to offending
  • Experience in planning and coordinating work
  • Experience of working with groups or individuals to motivate behaviour
  • Knowledge of Evidence Based Practice
  • Ability to analyse complex information
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • Ability to empathise constructively
  • Ability to complete all mandatory training
