Job Summary
The job holder will contribute to and lead the management and assessment of selected low to medium risk prisoners and prepare, implement, review and evaluate their sentence plans with them.
This role requires working regular unsocial hours and a 17% payment will be paid in addition to your basic pay to recognise this.
The MoJ offers Hybrid Working arrangements where business need allows, blending working from your base location, different MoJ sites and/or from home.

Key Requirements
Custodial Care National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) 3
Trained in restraint techniques
Competent in custodial procedures
Experience of working with diverse people
Understanding of factors related to offending
Experience in planning and coordinating work
Experience of working with groups or individuals to motivate behaviour
Knowledge of Evidence Based Practice
Ability to analyse complex information
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
