The Director of State Government Affairs is responsible for influencing changes to state laws and regulations by lobbying the New York, New Jersey, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Delaware State Governments on GSK priorities and issues related to public health and the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities include engaging patient advocacy groups, health professional societies, State Departments of Health and trade associations to support business unit needs at GSK.
The US annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $171,000 to $285,000, in addition to an annual bonus and eligibility for long-term incentives and comprehensive benefits.
