Lead field efforts according to state and Federal historic preservation guidelines including reconnaissance surveys, terrestrial surveys augmented by shovel testing, site documentation and recordation, and monitoring.
Complete and submit requisite field paperwork: daily journals, vehicle mileage forms, transect shovel test forms, site shovel test forms, and state-level site and feature forms; field site sketch maps and feature profiles, perform photo documentation and complete photo logs, etc.
