Job Summary
Performs sensory evaluations of raw materials, intermediate and finished products, making pass/fail decisions while working independently and on a team with other Sensory Evaluators.
Manages, prepares, and administers one or more structured customer specific sensory programs.
The sensory evaluations will be conducted in a lab, tasting up to 250-300 samples per day.

Key Requirements
Degree in Chemistry/Biology/Food Science or related field
1-3 years of previous experience in the food industry
Technical degree and/or experience is a sufficient replacement for educational degree
English fluency
Ability to describe accurately sensory characteristics
Computer skills (SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot and investigate sensory differences
Ability to enter OOS results in SAP
Ability to communicate and advise sensory findings
Decision making based on test results
Must be able to taste and smell a variety of products
