Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the Department’s grants, including drawing down cash for federal reimbursement, grants reconciliations, preparing federal reports, and Cash Management Improvement Act (CMIA) reporting.
  • Responsibilities include identifying, researching, and addressing reconciliation variances, reviewing general ledger reports for red flags, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual grant reports to state and federal agencies.
  • The Division of Agency Financial Services performs all state-level financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and accounting services for the Department of Public Instruction, ensuring fiscal responsibility and effective initiative execution.
