Key Requirements

  • Doctorate in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or acceptable degree
  • One year supervised internship (Psychologist I)
  • One year post-doctoral experience (Psychologist II)
  • Five years post-licensure experience (Psychologist III)
  • Ten years post-licensure experience (Psychologist IV)
  • Eligible for licensure in Texas as a Licensed Psychologist
  • Become licensed in Texas within one year
