Job Summary

  • The Director provides strategic leadership for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of transfer pathways, articulation agreements, onboarding processes, and support services designed to promote persistence, retention, and degree completion.
  • The Director will work collaboratively with academic leadership, advising units, the Registrar, and community college partners to ensure that UAPB is a destination institution for transfer and adult students.
  • The Director is responsible for executing duties including strategic leadership, transfer articulation, student onboarding, data assessment, external partnerships, and operational management.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with transfer students, adult learners, or post-traditional populations
  • Working knowledge of transfer articulation, degree audit systems, and academic policy
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and use metrics to improve student outcomes
