Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; AA/AS or BA/BS preferred
  • Successful completion of Basic POST academy within three years
  • Current Consumer Affairs Guard Registration and Straight Baton Certification
  • Valid California Driver's License with good driving record
  • Uncorrected vision 20/30 or corrected 20/20 with normal depth perception
  • Pass psychological evaluation and background checks including credit and criminal history
