GM is seeking a Senior AI/ML Capacity Engineer to join their AV Infrastructure organization, focusing on optimizing cloud infrastructure for autonomous vehicle development. The role requires expertise in capacity planning, coding proficiency in Python, and experience with distributed systems.

Job Summary
The mission of the AVCPE team is to provide input into large scale ML infrastructure strategy, advise on key decisions affecting our cloud budget, identify and execute optimization projects, and provide capacity planning and engineering expertise to support GM’s efforts in developing autonomous vehicles (AV).
Develop and refine technical models for capacity planning for GM’s AV infrastructure, design and build automated analytical tools for monitoring capacity and demand signals, and partner with AI/ML engineering, infrastructure engineering, and cloud vendors to proactively identify and drive optimization projects.
