Job Summary
Responsible for performing phlebotomy in a variety of environments in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
This will include all aspects of specimen collection, documentation, and submission to the laboratory for analysis.

Must-have
Perform phlebotomy in various settings
Collect blood samples using appropriate technique
Recognize factors affecting specimen collection
Proficient in multiple collection methods
Respond to department needs via pager
Nice-to-have
Excellent customer service orientation
Familiarity with PC applications
Works independently with minimal supervision
Key Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of Medical Assistant/CNA or Phlebotomy program
Current certification (AMT, ASCP, NCPT, or NCCT)
Current Heart Saver (HS) certification
3 months inpatient phlebotomy experience or externship
