Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Deep understanding of human immunology and inflammation
  • Experience supporting Phase II-III clinical trials
  • Prior interaction with health authorities on biomarkers
  • Leadership of biomarker strategies for clinical programs
  • Assay qualification, validation, and transfer to CROs

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in primary biliary cholangitis or liver disease
  • Familiarity with high dimensional platforms like flow cytometry
  • Working knowledge of R or Python for data analysis
  • Proactive problem-solving skills in regulated environments
  • Ability to mentor junior scientists and build capability

Key Requirements

  • PhD in Immunology, Inflammation Biology, or related discipline
  • 5-8+ years of post-doctoral and industry experience
  • Demonstrated success supporting registrational studies
  • Experience interacting with FDA or EMA on biomarker topics
